Dear valued customers, friends and supporters:

We have all seen the news and advice now being given by government regarding non-essential social contact.

Hospitality is at the very heart of our business and there’s nothing more we’d like to do than to continue with business as usual, but we are now forced to make the difficult decision to temporarily close.

We have traded as a neighbourhood restaurant for over thirty years, having survived many challenges. Our top priority at this extraordinary time is to protect our wonderful staff and loyal customers.

It would be reckless and unethical to open and enable this disease to spread amongst our staff and the wider community.

We remain committed to serving our community in the best way we can during this unprecedented time and to keep our staff in employment however possible.

In the coming days we plan to pilot a ready-meal menu with some of our popular dishes for collection to reheat at home. We are working on the logistics of this and hope to share details over the next few days.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Keep safe

Patrick Hannity and all the team at The Lime Tree
